Mookie lives with his 3 sister’s and 2 brothers in Patchogue, NY. He was adopted from the North Shore Animal Shelter in 2007. He is the king of the roost and loves attention. We always find him waiting for us at the door waiting for a belly rub!
Cleopatra or Cleo is our latest cat addition. Her human Mom passed away recently and she was going to have to go to a shelter since her original Mom couldn’t take her back due to her daughter’s allergy issues. Cleo loves attention and immediately made a claim on our bedroom as her own domain. She is a purebreed Ragdoll cat and loves to be held and played with.
Mookie’s brother Cosmo is now almost 3 years old and was adopted from an animal shelter in Riverhead, New York. He was found as a kitten inside someones garbage pail! We found out he has an untreatable heart condition but you would never know it by the way he runs around our house chasing everybody. Everyday we have him is a gift and we love him as much as we can.
Misty adopted my wife at the animal shelter in Freeport, New York. When we went to visit the shelter, we couldn’t decide on who to pick to bring home with us, until Misty jumped into my wife’s arms and went to sleep. She’s a big teddy bear but seems to prefer to be left alone by the other cats.
Our newest addition to the family is Max. He was adopted from Bidawee animal shelter in West Hampton. In the short 3 months we have had him he has changed from a shy nervous doggie to a vibrant, active, loving dog. We can’t imagine our life without him. He loves to go to the local dog park and play with the big dogs. He let’s them chase him around and around and loves to drop and roll to get away from them!
Last but not least is Lucy who we adopted from the North Shore Animal League Shelter in Port Washington, New York. She is a beautiful cat and loves to play with her brothers. She is afraid of her shadow but loves to visit us at night when we are sleeping.
